Service Description
Wild Wood Bristol Forest School is a great way for pre-school aged children (18 months and above) with their parents or carers in tow, to have the opportunity to play, explore and investigate the wonders of this beautiful woodland in the company of other families. Each week there is a different over-riding theme that helps the children learn about the woodland environment while building relationships for other children. Also, there is plenty of opportunities for children to follow their own interests, may it be playing in the den, cooking up a mud cake in the woodland kitchen, searching the site during a scavenger hunt, stream fun, or using real tools. Cooking over the campfire is something that sets this Forest School apart. Each session includes making something new over the campfire - last term this included making apple and black berry crumble, fruit fritters, bread on sticks, popcorn and everyone's favourite, smores.
